Silly season, in February!

In Cornwall, the summer is also known as silly season, because it is really busy. Everything is busy from sweet shops to night clubs. Whilst this is what Cornwall needs, it would be good if it could spread across the year a little more.

Diving is dependant on the weather, we have a quarry we can train in but we deal with a lot of local divers, who like diving from our boat. If the weather is suitable at any time of year, we go out, quite often full with locals. During the summer we could be out 7 days a week with a mix of locals and holiday makers.

We now have a second silly season, it is February. Not from diving, we still go if the weather lets us, but from servicing. We now have at least 4 weeks of continuous work lined up. Equipment sales are also at a peak. We specialise in lesser known makes like Kwark undersuits and Tecline gear, sales are increasing as word gets out how good they are.

I am not complaining but it would be nice if it was spread over a few months rather than just February :)
