Atlantic Scuba was formed by Mark Milburn in 2007. Mark learnt to dive in 1999 and it soon became a passion. With over 3,000 dives completed in many countries around the world, Mark always prefers U.K diving. Mark says "it's good to go somewhere warm for a week or two for some easy dive but U.K diving is so much more challenging".
Over the years Mark has passed many diving qualifications from Underwater Archaeology to Advanced Trimix and rebreather diving. He now teaches a range of SDI scuba diving courses. Mark is also a qualified boat skipper, marine mammal medic and a Wildlife Safe Operator (WiSe).
Mark works part time as a scallop diver around Cornwall which, as he says "keeps my dive fitness up and lets me explore areas I wouldn't normally visit".
Mark loves underwater photography & videography. Some of his footage has appeared on BBC's Inside Out a couple of times, he has also has photo's in Sport Diver magazine and most local newspapers.
"The more I learn the more I realise I don't know" - Einstein. If he learnt to dive he'd realise just how true that statement really is :)
