Underwater rubbish collections around Falmouth

On the thirteenth of August we organised an underwater rubbish collection at Swanpool Beach in Falmouth. It was well received by the local press and radio and ended up with thirteen divers entering the water looking for litter. We recovered 12kg's of rubbish including several plastic bags, golf balls and loads of other bits and pieces.

Since then, whenever we have dived at any of the beaches, we have collected any rubbish we see.

Our next organised litter pick is this Sunday, 9th September, at Gyllyngvase Beach in Falmouth.
